小学本科层次英语教师培养——新乡学院外语系工作目标之一

On the Cultivation of Four-year English-major Student Teachers for Elementary Schools ——one of the working objectives of Foreign Language Department of Xinxiang College

建议新组建的新乡学院外语系从三个方面来定位自己的工作目标:一是全院系部的公共外语教学;二是新乡市初等和中等英语教师的继续教育;三是新乡市小学本科层次高素质、合格英语教师的培养。本文主要论述为小学培养本科层次英语教师的必要性及培养模式。

Foreign Language Department of Xinxiang College should set its working objectives from three aspects: first,the public foreign language teaching for the whole college;second,the continuing education for in-service English teachers of Xinxiang elementary and junior middle schools;third,cultivating four-year English-major student teachers for elementary schools.The author mainly discusses the third problem.
