During road construction in red sandstone area,the common problem is large volume of red sandstone could not be used as filling material but has to be wasted due to its special character.The Paper,through analyzing the character of red sandstone,conducts a study on the equipment and technique for red sandstone treatment to ensure stability of filled subgrade.It thus solves the difficulty in red sandstone utilization.
