对多媒体网络教学和传统大学英语教学模式的新思考

Rethinking on Multimedia English Teaching and Traditional College English Teaching Mode

传统大学英语教学中暴露的诸多问题使英语教学模式改革势在必行,在探索新型教学模式的过程中,多媒体网络教学应运而生。这一新型教学模式虽具有很强的优越性,但同时也存在一些不足之处;传统大学英语教学模式虽然存在着许多不尽人意的地方,但其合理成分应当被重新重视和应用。通过优化传统大学英语教学模式,使其在英语教学过程中与多媒体教学相结合,取长补短,才有利于切实提高大学英语教学质量。

There are many problems revealed in traditional college English teaching and this calls for reforms of college English teaching mode.In the course of exploring new teaching modes,multimedia English teaching comes into being.This new English teaching mode has many advantages but at the same time has its disadvantages also.Although the traditional teaching mode has its unsatisfactory aspects,it doesn't mean it is totally and absolutely useless for today's college English teaching.Those reasonable factors should be reevaluated and applied into English teaching.Through optimizing traditional teaching mode and combining it with multimedia English teaching,college English teaching quality will be greatly improved.
