摘要
模糊性是自然语言的一种客观属性。模糊语言表情达意的作用在文学作品中体现得最为明显,文学语言的模糊化是作家对语言艺术处理的结果,具有较高的审美价值。本文从翻译美学的角度,探讨杨宪益、戴乃迭译本与大卫.霍克斯译本对《红楼梦》中模糊语的美学意蕴的艺术再现。
Ambiguity is a characteristic of natural languages,and writers like to make use of it in their expression of feelings or artistic conceptions.The present paper is intended to study the reproduction of ambiguous language in the two English versions of the classic Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber done by Yang Hsien-yi & Gladys Yang and by David Hawks.
