摘要 作为胚胎发育时期的重要蛋白,头蛋白(noggin)对爪蟾(xenopus)和哺乳动物的中枢神经系统有诱导分化的作用。Noggin对神经组织的诱导作用与其拮抗物——骨形成蛋白有关。Noggin基因对生后及成年哺乳动物的中枢神经系统可能亦有重要作用。科学家们通过noggin基因的神经诱导作用已经成功分化出了神经元,特定种系定向分化以及功能问题尚待研究。Noggin基因为研究神经系统疾病的基因治疗开辟了新思路。 As the important gene of embryonic development,noggin has been identified to be the neural inducer of Xenopus and mammalian.Noggin effects the neural induction with the antagonizing through bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs).Noggin as the earliest acting neural inducers also has important roles in the adult mammalian nerve system.Scientists have successfully induced neuron with the expression of noggin.Dif- ferentiation to specific and homogenous cell populations and function of neuron are still be questioned.The research of noggin gene may provide a new way for gene therapy of cerebral disease.
