摘要
语言的使用受其所属文化的制约,跨越不同文化背景的语言交际常会因为本族语与目的语之间的文化差异而产生语用失误,从而导致交际失败。本文将对语用失误进行分类和分析,并提出在英语教学中应该转变教学观念,重视文化教学和学生交际能力的培养,以提高学生的语用能力,减少跨文化交际中的语用失误。
The use of language is greatly influenced by culture.The cultural differences between source language and target language lead to pragmatic failures in intercultural communication and break down communication.This paper categorizes and analyses pragmatic failure as well as put forward the proposal that we should shift teaching focus and attach importance to culture instruction and cultivate students' communicative competence in order to enhance their pragmatic competence and avoid pragmatic failure in intercultural communication.
