MAC Address binding with the Switch Port is one function of switch port security management.This binding would restrict the visiting traffic,control the data packages quantity transmitted and received.It could not only make the network resources used reasonable,but also effectively control the unallowable access intrusion.It would play a very important role to the network security management.
