Smart Client and Its Application in Medical Image Management

智能客户端(Smart Client)是新一代由Microsoft.Net架构支持的应用程序,它将Windows平台跟Internet应用结合起来,兼具传统的胖客户端和瘦客户端之长,提供用户丰富的操作体验和高级功能,同时又易于管理,可以集中部署和升级。由于智能客户端模式自身具有诸多的优势,基于智能客户端模式的影像存储和通讯系统(Picture Archiving and Communication System,PACS)亦具有许多卓越的特性。随着该技术逐渐得到医院用户的了解和掌握,智能客户端模式必将会在包括PACS在内的医学信息系统领域得到越来越广泛的应用。

Smart Client refers to a new generation application based on the Microsoft .Net Framework.It combines Web service with Windows platform,leveraging the rich user experience and complex functionalities of thick client,and easy deployment and maintenance of thin client.Since smart client provides a number of unique benefits,PACS based on such technology will have many unique features.With the wide deployment of smart client technology,it will be increas-ingly used in medical information management systems,including PACS.
