吴瑭《温病条辨》是一部全面、系统、集大成、有创新、切实用的温病学专著。其学术成就与创新体现在:(1)为温病奠定坚实的理论基础——通过《卷首.原病篇》精选并诠释了《内经》有关温热病的论述;(2)把温病的范畴扩大为包括"九种温病"的"广义温病";(3)创建和完善了温病的辨证论述体系——以三焦为纲,病名为目,温热、湿热分类,结合卫气营血辨证的温病证治体系;(4)创制、整理了久用不衰的名方;(5)《温病条辨》是中医学术继承与创新的一个范例。

Wenbingtiaobian(Differentiation on Febrile Disease)by Wu Tang,being innovative and practical,is a comprehensive,systematic,and great monograph on febrile disease.The embodiments of its academic achievements and innovation are:(1)laying a solid theoretic foundation for febrile disease by choosing and annotating relative texts from Neijing(the Orthodox Classic of Huangdi);(2)broadening the concept of febrile disease to a generalized sense,including 'Nine Types of Febrile disease';(3)establishing and perfecting the syndrome differentiation system of febrile disease,namely,a system that views triple energizer as principles,illness as category,distinguishes between warm or damp febrile illness and incorporate with theory of defense,qi,nutrient,and blood;(4)formulating and sorting time-honored well-known Chinese medical formulae;(5)Wenbingtiaobian(Differentiation on Febrile Disease)is a good example of inheritance and innovation of the Chinese medical sciences.
