摘要
论述了价值多元主义认为现实世界的价值不仅是多样的,而且是不可通约与冲突的。没有理性的标准能提供完整的理由来解决价值的冲突;个人对价值的选择必须要具有自主性,而不是要求消极自由的优先性。指出价值多元主义表达的政治观念催生了共同体中积极公民的形成。
Value pluralism holds that the values of the world are not just multiplicitous,but incommensurate and conflicting.There is no rational solution to value conflict.Furthermore,it is not all of the values can be pursued together because we have to loss another value when one is chosen.The author holds that we must be autonomic not to prioritize negative liberty for value choice.The article concludes that value pluralism raises positive citizen in community.
