以林业在经济社会可持续发展全局中战略地位和作用明显提高为标志的我国林业,已进入一个崭新发展的春天。作为国家重点林区的伊春林业建设,也经历着历史性的五大转变。国家确定了林业六大工程建设,1998年又开始实施“天然林资源保护工程”。人们经营森林的理念也开始了转变,在借鉴了国外经验的同时,根椐我国林业发展的实际情况,提出了林业跨跃式发展与可持续发展的新思路。在跨越式发展迈向可持续发展的过程中,有两点应重新重视起来,即植物引种驯化与林木改良工作。

The forestry in our country, with its evidently increased strategic station and effect in the whole sustainable development in economic society, has come into a spring with new development. The forest construction in Yichun, the key forest region of the state, is experiencing five great and historic changes. Six master forest programs has been confirmed by the state and“Natural Forest Protection Project' has been implemented from the year of 1998. The concept of the people for forest management has began to change. The new ideas of forest sustainable development and rapid-stride-type development have been put forward according to the practical situation of the forest development in our country at the same time using foreign experiences as reference. In the process of the development from rapid-stride-type to sustainable, we think the two points should be set store by again, that is plant introduction and domestication and forest improvement.
