The Music Typology of the Ethnic Groups in Northern Mountainous Thai

多元的泰国北部山地民族,有着大量宝贵的民族音乐资源,这些音乐以不同的方式存在于民间,它真实地记录着各民族的历史和文化。然而,随着生产、生活方式的不断变化及外来因素的影响,这些音乐的存在及传承受到严峻的考验。对此,无论是从传统文化的继承和发扬的角度,还是从社会经济文化发展的角度,对泰国北部山地民族音乐给予足够的重视,并且加以研究都是非常必要的。

The diverse ethnic peoples in Northern Thai mountainous areas have managed to retain a great treasure of local music in various forms that records their history and culture.However this treasure is facing great challenges as production mode,life style are changing added by the invasion of foreign cultures.Attention should be given to the preservation and study of the music traditions both for the culture itself and for the economy of the region.
