This article introduces the successful application of TQM(Total Quality Management) to the lift-slab construction of repairing embankment along the Pearl River in the Luntou fruit rrees preserving area in Haizhu district of Guangzhou city.TQM has a great effect on quality control and production control in the enterprises of water resources management.Besides,TQM can also be applied to the construction and quality control in other fields.Finally,with a sample project,the article presents several questions to be noticed in the application of TQM.
