摘要
英汉两种语言都存在着大量的比喻性词语,但由于各自的社会文化背景不同,在设喻方式、喻体层面也不尽相同。
There are a great number of metaphorical phrases in both English and Chinese. This article, based on some examples from the cultural analysis, explores some of the inequality between English and Chinese metaphorical phrases.
