“勤俭”作为基本道德规范被写入《公民道德建设实施纲要》,胡锦涛总书记提出的以“八荣八耻”为主要内容的社会主义荣辱观中,提出以艰苦奋斗为荣、以骄奢淫逸为耻。勤俭节约、艰苦奋斗是中华民族的传统美德,弘扬中华民族的传统美德是高校思想政治工作的有效途径。

Hardworking and thrifty are the Chinese traditional virtues. Developing the Chinese traditional virtue is the effective way to enhance moral education in colleges and universities.
