摘要
双关是英语中常见的修辞手法,因其独特的风格被广泛地应用于文学作品、广告、谜语、习语、笑话中,以增加语言的表现力及感染力。文章从双关的表现形式、双关的应用等方面做一些探讨。
Pun is one of the common rhetorical figures in English. Because of its special style, it widely applies to literature, advertisement, riddles and idioms to increase the expression ability and appeal of the language. This paper makes an analysis of pun in expressing form and application.
