This paper presents the working principles and performance advantages of a frequency conversion governing control system. In addition, the energy-saving fundamentals of frequency conversion governors are provided in the application for centralized air conditioners. Based on the study of frequency conversion governors and relevant governing valves, the energy-saving inherence of frequency conversion governors has been proven via experimental data. Therefore, it is envisaged that the frequency conversion governing technology paves a new venue for energy-saving.
