植物词是生态文化的重要组成部分,由于英汉民族地理、历史等条件的不同,同一植物词有着不同的文化内涵。文章归纳了英汉植物词文化差异的主要表现,从五个方面分析了造成这些差异的社会文化因素,并提出了相应的翻译方法。

Plant words are the main components of eco-culture.Plant words in English and Chinese,due to the two nations' different geographical and historical conditions,load different cultural meanings in the same words.The paper induces the chief aspects of the cultural differences of the plant words,analyses the social and cultural factors bringing about these differences from five aspects,and puts forwards the appropriate translating methods.
