在异域做田野:老挝的经历——兼论田野资料的“准确性”与“真实性”

Doing Fieldwork in a Foreign Country:Field Experiences in Laos——Also on the Objectivity and Veracity of Field Data

拟以笔者在老挝北部山区的田野调查经历为例,反思在异文化进行人类学田野调查所面临的困境与问题,并以实例讨论田野资料的真实性与客观性等问题。认为田野调查研究是了解人类社会与文化的重要方法之一,也是社会-文化人类学区别于其他"社会科学"最显著的标志。

Fieldwork is one of the most important approaches for us to understand human societies and cultures.It is also one of the most remarkable features distinguishing cultural anthropology from other social sciences.Based on his fieldwork experiences in the northern part of the Lao P.D.R.,the author aims to reflect the problems facing the ethnographers when doing fieldwork in a foreign country,and tries to discuss the objectivity and veracity of field data which has been considered incontestable.
