摘要
本研究探索的是中国大学生在英语语音态度上凸现出来的学习者认同。材料分析以2005—2007两年的学生日记为主;这两年间对个别学生的访谈以及任课教师的课堂观察为辅。日记有两个主题,好的英语发音的标准,和自己对各种英语口音的态度。研究发现,学生普遍推崇英语本族人的发音,只有少数可以接受自己或他人不太标准的发音。在对英语发音的不同态度中,学习者的各色认同及其认同的发展变化也有不同程度的呈现。研究者认为,发音,无论好坏,都可以成为一种教育资源,培养学生使用英语的信心。
