阐述了远程教育与传统的课堂教育的区别 ,根据远程教育的特点和教学模式 ,就教材在远程教育中所占的地位进行了深入地探讨 ,从而阐述了远程教育的教材不应是传统的、单一的 ,而应是多样的、多种媒体的 ,指出教师必须重视教材的设计 。

This paper expounds the differences between the distant education and traditional education. According to the characteristics and teaching patterns of distant education, it discusses the position of teaching materials in distant education. It shows that teaching materials of distant education should be various and diversified media instead of traditional and single one.
