Thoughts on English Listening Teaching and Learning

在英语“听、说、读、写”技能训练中 ,听占有重要的地位 ,但这也是在英语学习中不易突破的一个难关。其原因在于英语听力理解中存在着语言障碍、文化障碍、心理障碍。要克服这些障碍必须在教学中训练学生掌握一些单项的听力技巧 ,精听与泛听相结合 ,激发学生提高英语听力的兴趣 ,多给学生肯定的评价 。

In English skill training for listening, speaking, reading and writing, listening takes an important position, yet it is also a hard nut to crack in English language learning. The reason is for the existing language barrier, culture barrier and psychology barrier. In English language teaching and learning, we should train students to have a good command of listening skill, combine intensive listening with extensive listening, and give students more affirmative appraisal. In this way, these barriers can be overcome and students' listening ability can be improved.
