班主任、辅导员在学生教育管理工作中举足轻重 ,作为高校学生教育管理工作者 ,要深刻认识到自己所肩负的使命 ,适应新的形势 ,发挥班主任、辅导员的五大作用 :一是主导指挥作用 ;二是观察发现作用 ;三是以身示范作用 ;四是宣传激励作用 ;五是关心爱护作用 ,并以此为指导 。

Class supervisor and class counselor play an important role in the education and management of students. Managerial staff in institutions of higher learning shall have to shoulder their missions under new circumstances and perform five functions, namely, dominating function, observing function, demonstrating function, stimulating function, and caring of students, so to create a new phase for the management of students.
