根据 2 1世纪社会对人才的要求 ,结合高等教育改革发展的实际 ,论述了高校教师自身素质与素质教育的基本关系 ,从加强思想修养、提高人文素质、完善自身的知识结构、培养自身的创新能力。

In accordance with the demand of society on talents in the twenty-first century, and in view of educational reforms in institutions of higher learning, the authors elaborate the relation of the improvement of teachers' personal qualities to quality education. The authors maintain that the improvement of teachers' quality in ideology, humanities, knowledge distribution, creativity, and art of teaching be the key to implement quality education.
