摘要
本研究运用定量分析的方法,对比研究了农村组与城镇组、四级通过组与未通过组学生英语学习策略的使用特点及其对成绩的影响。T-检验显示:农村组与城镇组学生在策略、成绩等方面无差异;通过组与未通过组学生在管理策略、词汇学习策略及入学成绩方面差异显著,但在家庭环境因素方面无差异。相关分析进一步佐证了以上差异研究结果。
This paper reports on a quantitative study of learning strategies of college English learners. T-tests show no significant difference between the rural students and urban ones regarding their learning strategies and scores in the College English Test band4 (CET4) but greatly significant difference between the students who passed CET4 and those who did not, particularly in the meta-cognitive and vocabulary learning strategies, they demonstrate no difference in family background variables; as displayed in the Pearson Correlation Coefficient table, the students' scores in the CET4 are significantly correlated with their meta-cognitive and vocabulary learning strategies, with a zero correlation with their family background variables, which conforms the T-tests results.
