The paper reviews The Folklore of South Chu in China ,the work of Prof.Wang Jianzhang ,in four parts:(a) its actual refinement and pursuit of standardization for folklore ; (b)its abundance and accuracy of regional nationalities description and research ; (c) its knowability and feasibility of field investigation ; and (d) its devotional spirit and hearttalking project of folklore study .
