本文介绍了计算语言学的概况及自然语言歧义研究的重要性。从语言符号的特点和计算机处理自然语言的过程两个方面分析了歧义的根源 ,说明了歧义存在的必然性。按歧义的来源对英语语言中的歧义进行了分类 ,并分别举例予以分析。

This paper gives the outline of Computational Linguistics and the importance of research on ambiguity of natural language. The origin of ambiguity in Computational Linguistics is analyzed from the specialty of sign of language and the process of natural language processing with computer, and thus the necessity of ambiguity is shown. The ambiguities in English language are sorted according to their sources, and analyzed with detailed examples. [
