Forster has an ideal of unity. His vision all suggests unity and order in the universe.To Forster, harmony is the core of the universe as well as the human world. Bearing this idea in his mind, Forster observes the world with keen eyes. But the reality disappoints him. What he sees is the gulf between nations and races, and isolation and misunderstanding between people.
