加入WTO后,我国高等教育将面临严峻的挑战。人才培养数量、质量及结构等都面临严峻考验。同时,加入WTO标志着我国扩大开放和深化体制改革进入了一个新的历史阶段,高等教育获得了新的发展机遇,将促使教育更快地融入世界教育大市场。高等院校必须紧紧住机遇,迎接挑战,加强创新教育,加快高等教育改革力度,加强师资队伍建设,努力提高高等教育综合实力和市场竞争力。

After joining WTO Chinese higher education faces severe challenges.The quantity, quality and structure of persons' training will face severe test.At the same time, joining in WTO marked a new historical period of enlarging opening and deepening system reform, higher education will gain new developing opportunities,which will accelerate the speed of mixing the market of world education.Chinese universities must grasp opportunities,greet challenges,enhance creative education,strengthen the speed of education reform,enhance constructions of teachers troops,take great efforts to enhance higher education's comprehensive strength and the ability of market competition,do our best to set up the domestic and international firstclass university by all means.
