《太阳照样升起》是著名美国作家海明威的代表作之一。小说中四位主要人物的形象揭示了“迷惘的一代”这一深刻主题,反映了第一次世界大战之后美国社会的人们由于心灵空虚,没有人生目标,找不到出路而产生精神迷惘的生活实际。
The Sun Also Rises is one of the master works of Hemingway, the famous American writer. The given analysis of the four main characters of the novel is to discuss how the novelist reveals the theme of the lost generation through the characters he portrays, reflecting the empty, meaningless, aimless and hopeless life of the lost generation in American society after World War One.
