党的建设必须适应时代的历史的要求。江泽民同志提出的“三个代表”重要思想 ,从根本上回答了建设一个什么样的党和怎样建设党的问题 ,是新时期党的建设的根本指导思想。我们必须按照“三个代表”重要思想的要求 ,切实加强和改进党的思想建设、组织建设、作风建设和制度建设 。

Party building must adapt to the historical requirements of the times. The important thought of “Three Represents”, put forward by JIANG Ze-min, gives solutions to the problems of building what kind of Party and how to build it. It is the basic guiding ideology for Party building in the new period.
