The Historical Change and Innovation for Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities

当代中国乃至世界政治、经济、文化和社会形势的变化,对我国高校思想政治工作的创新的发展提出了新要求。如何面对现代化、全球化、市场化、网络化和我国高等教育大众化所带来的系列冲击,在继承传统优势的基础上,针对教育内容上时代性不强、教育效果不佳和教育手段上相对滞后等问题,采取综合创新举措,强化高校政治工作的有用性和实效性,对当代大学生进行经典中国、创新中国、法制中国、形象中国、市场中国等具有时代特色的系列中国教育,进一步丰富高校思想政治教育的内涵,提升高校思想政治工作的层次和水平,为全面培养中国特色社会主义事业的建设者和接班人提供智力支持和政治保证。

The changes in terms of politics, economy, culture and social situations in modern China and throughout the world have raised new challenges for the innovation and development of the ideological and political work in colleges and universities. This paper attempts to probe into the issue of how to deal with a series of impacts resulting from the modernization, globalization, marketization, cyberization and the popularization of higher education in our country. It is opined that in line with some marked problems in the quo status of ideological and political work in colleges and universities and on the basis of carrying forward the traditional advantages, innovative measures should be taken to reinforce the usefulness and efficacy of political work in colleges and universities. Besides, it is hoped that by educating modern college students in a series of Chinese issues with typical epochal characteristics, the connotation of the ideological and political work in colleges and universities should be further enriched whereas the level of the ideological and political work should be improved so as to provide support in brainpower and political guarantee for the overall training of builders and successors for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
