“科玄论战”新探

A new discovery on ‘Ke-xuan debate’

20世纪20年代,中国思想界爆发了一场著名的思想交锋,即“科学与人生观”的论战,简称“科玄论战”。笔者站在科学长足进步、中国走向现代化的今天,试图对上个世纪的“科玄论战”重新审议,以科学派与玄学派论战的焦点(即科学能否解决人生观问题)为中心,对人生观与科学的涵义、科学与人生观的关系及“科玄论战”对中国文化哲学发展的影响等问题分别作了探讨。

In 1920's, a great thinking debate was broken out in ideology circles of China. It's called 'Ke-xuan lun zhan', which meant debate between science and outlook on life. With time went by, China has made a great progress in science. The author tries to reanalyze the debate focus —whether the science can solve the problem on life—between 'science school' and 'xuan-xue school'. In addition, the concept and relation of outlook of life and Science and the effect of 'Ke-xuan lun zhan' on Chinese culture and philosophy development were also investigated in this paper.
