漫谈汉语的“语序”

On the Word Order in the Chinese Language

汉语是孤立语,缺乏形态变化,因此虚词与语序就显得特别重要。本文分析了汉语双音词中语素的顺序、短语及句子中词的顺序,说明语序与语义、句意的关系。同时从修辞的角度,指出有意识地运用语序变化,可以造成独特巧妙的修辞效果。

The Chinese language is an inflectionless language as it lacks change in form. Therefore the functional words and the word order seem to be all the more important. This paper analyses the morpheme order in the disyllable words of the Chinese language and the word order in phrases and sentences, and explains the relations among word order, semantic meaning and sentence meaning. Meanwhile, it points out, from a rhetorical angle, that deliberately applying the change of the word order will create unique rhetorical effects.
