试论形声字的产生原因及发展途径

On the Causes of the Emergence of Pictophonetic Charactersand the Means of Their Development

从小篆开始形声字成为汉字发展的主流,对其研究不仅能深化对形声字本身的认识,而且对认清整个汉字系统的发展也有重要意义。本文主要论述形声字的产生原因和发展途径,认为其产生是社会发展、语言和文字相互作用等因素综合作用的必然结果,而其发展途径主要有强化、分化和形符声符直接结合三种。

Beginning from the lesser seal characters, pictophonetic characters became the main stream of the development of the Chinese characters. The study of the pictophonetic characters will not only deepen the understanding of pictophonetic characters themselves, but also is essential to see clearly the development of Chinese characters system. This paper mainly expounds the causes of the emergence of pictophonetic characters and the means of their development, believing that their of is an inevitable result of the social development and the interaction of language and characters. And their it is has the three forms of intensification, division and the direct combination of pictograms and notes.
