In this article, we not only discussed how to use the numerical method to calculate the loaded quality factor of a cavity resonator, but also discussed the effect on resonator diagram of the input impedance caused by the loss of resonant resistance. By using this conclusion, we can substitute the surface loss of the conduction for the dielectric loss of the cavity when using the numerical method to calculate the loaded quality factor.
