“求实”是《孙子兵法》的特征。由于战争是国家的大事 ,战争有利也有害 ,因而要“求实”。“求实”包括求实情 ,求实权 ,求实利 ,求实绩。“求实”是《孙子兵法》的思维方法 ,它是思维的起点、目的和标准。

This paper suggests that “being matter_of_fact” is a feature of The Art Of War by Sunzi. A war is an important matter at state level, which has both advantages and disadvantages. Thus “being matter_of_fact” is a must, and includes grasping the actual situation, seizing the real power, striving for the material benefit and substantial achievement. “Being matter_of_fact” is not only the mode of thinking of The Art Of War by Sunzi but also the starting point, the end and the criterion of thought.
