简述颈动脉粥样硬化的检测、意义和对颈动脉粥样硬化临床干预的现代医学研究进展 ,重点综述 1995年以来发表的中医药干预颈动脉粥样硬化研究论文情况。认为颈动脉粥样硬化临床干预研究意义重大 ,前景广阔。中医药防治本病是我国的特色与优势 ,已显示良好的苗头 ,值得重视。指出了存在的主要问题和进一步开展中、西医药防治本病的研究方向。

The development of modern research on the detection,significance,and clinical intervention of carotid atherosclerosis,were briefly discussed. Chiefly summarized the articles of TCM intervention on carotid atherosclerosis.There were great importance and perspective of clinical intervention on carotid atherosclerosis.TCM method was the character and advantage in treating this disease,and had shown good perspective and pointed out the main problems and researching direction in treating the disease with traditional Chinese and west medicine.
