The striving objectives of building a well-off society in an all-round way set forth in the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China have put forward new requirements for turning China into a culturally advanced socialist country. This paper starts with the significance of strengthening the socialist spiritual civilization in the condition of building a well-off society in an all-round way, objectively analyzes the new situation it is facing, and it also explores how to push forward the building of the socialist spiritual civilization in our country.
