针对高科技水平与人文素质、物质生活与精神生活失衡的现代人类危机 ,特别是对科技知识传授与专业技能训练片面强化和对综合素质、尤其是人文素质培养相对忽视的弊端 ,强调要理清“训练”与“培养”的差别 ,务使未来工程师懂得设计内容 ,并能做出适当的策略性决定 ,提高领导能力。为此 ,要转变教育观念 ,通过教学这一主渠道 ,加强人文素质培养 ,以造就业务精、善创新、懂管理、有情趣、身心健康、有理想、有道德、有责任心和荣誉感的高素质工程技术人才。

To counter modern human crisis of the unbalance between high technology and humanities and life of substance and spirit,expecially the malpractice of reinforcing education on specialties and technique exercises but neglecting education on humanities,it is necessary to tell the difference between 'exercising' and 'training',and manage to make the future engineers not only well know design knowledge but make proper stpategic decisions with mastering abilities,Therefore,the ideas of education shoulal be adjusted to cater for humanities training.Through teaching,the main chennal,strengthen the training of humanity quality and foster qualified personel who have good abilities of profession, creation and management,who have temperament and interest,who are mentally and physically healthy, who are full of ideas, and who are moral, glorious and responsible.
