Value engineering analysis is made in this article on the roll devices of housing for 3500mm rolling mill of Jinan Iron & Steel Works. and for 2800mm rolling mill of Wuhan Iron & Steel Works. It considered the materials .matching parts and machining cost in this analysis. With the method specified in this article.the manufacturing cost is reduced by 620,000Yuan.
