对于当前建筑中存在的建筑特色危机和所面临的旧城的保护与更新,重提了"当代乡土"的设计理念,剖析了传统建筑中的现代建筑设计理念和蕴涵的生态美学的设计思想,分析了"当代乡土"与"普通城市"两种建筑设计观的利弊得失,最后提出以当代乡土观完善对历史名镇的保护与更新·
According as current crises within projections of architecture and the problems in conservation and renewal of old towns, the idea of contemporary vernacular is mentioned again. Having valued both 'contemporary vernacular' and 'generic city', places modernism and ecological ideas under a careful analysis. Eventually, conceiving the idea of contemporary vernacular, suggests that the conservation and renewal of old towns should be advanced.
