大学文化有内层文化、幔层文化和表层文化。内层文化是大学的内核 ,是大学办学中所持有的理念、观念 ,包括大学的使命观、经营观、行为观等内容。办学理念是在教育规律和社会发展客观规律指导下对办学理想的追求 ,它是办学思想的长期积淀和哲学总结。“以人为本 ,注重内涵 ,强化特色 ,加快发展 ,创建一流”的办学理念 ,是在教育规律和社会发展客观规律指导下对我校办学理想、思路、目标的追求 ,也是我校创建研究型大学的无形资产与文化优势。

University culture is divided into core culture, mantle culture, and surface culture. Core culture means the principles and concepts stuck to by a university during its running process, including views of mission, of management, and of behavior, etc. Running principles, as a long deposit and philosophical summary of running thoughts, are pursuit of running ideal under the guidance of educational laws and objective laws of social development. 'Attaching superior significance to humanism, laying stress on connotations, strengthening characteristics, speeding up development, and ranking among the top.' Such running principles are pursuit of NUAA's running ideals, thoughts, and aims under the guidance of educational laws and objective laws of social development. Meanwhile, they are NUAA's invisible capital and culture advantage to create a research-oriented university.
