大学科研是大学实现其社会服务功能的基础之一,将大学科研成果转化为企业的生产力是其产业功能的最主要体现。大学科技园应该与高新区相区别,立足孵化,在促进科技转化为生产力、实现大学产业功能的同时促进大学科学研究的发展。

Scientific research is one of the bases on which a university fulfill its social service functions. The industrial function of a university is mainly symbolized by the transformation of its fruits of scientific research into the productivity of enterprises. A university science park, different from a high_tech development zone, is expected to focus on its incubator function. That is, besides promoting the transformation of science and technology into productivity and fulfilling the industrial function of a university, the park is supposed to stimulate the development of scientific research and the interaction among industry, education, and research of the university.
