摘要
由于各种历史原因,英语受到了多国文化的影响。通过研究英语词汇的文化内涵,从而正确理解英语词汇的确切含义,进而更深一步理解语言背后蕴含的意义,即文化的含义。
Greatly influenced by many different cultures,English is called as international language because it is one of the most commonly used languages in the world.If one wants to understand the real meaning of English words,he/she should understand not only the literal meaning,but also the cultural meaning.
