摘要
A dynamic impedance-based structural health monitoring technique isintroduced. According to the direct and the converse piezoelectric property of piezoelectricmaterials, the piezoceramic (PZT) can be used as an actuator and a sensor synchronously. If damageslike cracks, holes, debonding or loose connections are presented in the structure, the physicalvariations of the structure will cause the mechanical impedance modified. On the basis ofintroducing the principle and the theory, the experiment and the analysis on some damages of thestructure are studied by means of the dynamic impedance technique. On the view of experiment, kindsof structural damages are evaluated by the information of dynamic impedance in order to validate thefeasibility of the method.
