在以信息和通讯为主导的高新技术日新月异发展的今天 ,地图学面临着前所未有的压力和挑战 ,地图学需要重新定位。放眼全球 ,国际地图学界在观念争鸣、理论研究、技术探索、地图应用等方面均出现令人振奋的发展和热点问题。这对我们发展中国的地图学有十分重要的借鉴作用。
