英语教学的基本原则是英语教学过程客观规律的反映,是英语教师在教学活动中正确处理教材和采用教学方法的依据,是老师掌握教学方向、检查教学效果、提高教学质量的指针。本文对大学英语的教学过程进行了探讨,并提出了八条应遵循的基本原则。

The fundamentals of English language teaching are reflected in the practical process of teaching English and also the significant base on which a teacher copes with the textbooks and what method he takes when he or she is teaching and when the teacher uses the ways to teach and test his or her students so as to improve his or her quality of teaching.The thesis studies the very process of the English teaching and comes up with eight basic principles for teachers to abide by.
