Contrasts of Linguistic Resources between English and Chinese

把英汉两种语言的固有特征看作英汉两种语言的独特资源 ,进而从英汉两种语言的资源入手 ,进行英汉两种语言在语形、语音、语序、思维、篇章及词汇等语言资源方面的对比 ,从对比中揭示英汉两种语言在这几个方面由于固有的资源而引发出来的种种差异 ,并阐释这种本有的差异独特性 ,及其如何影响中国人学习英语 ,从而指出中国人学习英语的困难所在 。

Taking the innate characteristics of English and Chinese as linguistic resources, this paper makes a contrastive study between the two languages in phonetics, morphology, syntax, and text, which demonstrates that linguistic differences between the two languages root in their respective innate characteristics. The contrastive study also reveals the difficulties that Chinese learners have in learning English.
