高校应加快数学建模课程建设

Set up Mathematical Modeling Course in Institutions of Higher Learning

介绍了数学建模作为一门学科的出现、发展及现状 ,分析了学生学习数学建模知识、高校开设数学建模课程及社会推广数学建模技术的重要意义 ,论证了高校开展数学建模课程建设的必要性和重要性 ,指出了当前高校数学建模课程建设的不足之处 ,并在此基础上提出了高校数学建模课程建设的方法和途径 ,旨在推动高校数学建模课程建设和学科发展。

Mathematical modeling shall be set up as a separate discipline since it is of great importance and necessity to improve mathematics-teaching in institutions of higher education and promote techniques for mathematical modeling in society. A review of the mathematical modeling in institutions of higher education indicates that defects exist in the setting of mathematical courses in current institutions of higher learning. Some approaches are presented in this paper to solve the problems therein.
